Art Discovery of The Week:

As far as artistic mash-ups go New Orleans born, bred and fed artist Katie Wohl hits the nail on the head. I inadvertently stumbled upon her work on etsy the other day and already purchased a print - the one pictured above: Creole With a Pearl Earring. Most of you are probably familiar with Vermeer’s original rendition (also pictured).

Katie aka KatNawlins has a lot more to share: other personal faves are the colored pencil The Voodoo Sister Set and all the beautifully colored shotguns.
